Betting operators authorized by SPA/MF: how to check CNPJ numbers, brands, and domains

News editor · 9/4/2026

This page records the editorial analysis conducted on September 4, 2026, of the national list of online betting and casino operators authorized by the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance (SPA/MF). The material available for this publication does not include a current, verifiable extract from the official registry. It is therefore not possible to state which companies are currently listed or to publish specific brands, CNPJ numbers, domains, or authorization instruments without risking errors. Each entry must be reconfirmed directly using the official source. Authorization belongs to the legal entity identified in the registry and must not automatically be extended to similar brands or domains.
- The editorial analysis was conducted on September 4, 2026.
- The research material does not contain a current official extract that would make it possible to identify specific operators.
- Brand, legal name, CNPJ, domain, and authorization instrument are separate fields and must be expressly linked in the official record.
- Not appearing in a single search does not conclusively prove that an operation is illegal.
- A state license must not be presented as national authorization unless an official rule confirms that scope.
What to check in the official list
An auditable list should create one row for each confirmed brand-and-domain combination. The row must reproduce the legal name, CNPJ, brand, exact domain, authorization instrument or number, recorded status, and consultation date. Without the current official registry, there is no basis for attributing a brand to a company, identifying which CNPJ is responsible for it, or associating it with a specific ordinance. Publishing a total count would also be inappropriate: companies, authorizations, brands, and domains are different units and require their own deduplication rules.
Open the official source
Locate the current list of authorized operators through an official SPA/MF channel. The current address must be validated at the time of consultation.
Record the date
Note when the search was conducted, as authorizations, brands, statuses, and domains may change.
Search different identifiers
Run separate searches for the brand, legal name, CNPJ, and domain. A trade name may not match the legal entity's name.
Compare the full domain
Confirm an exact match with the domain published in the registry. A similar name, redirect, mirror site, or similar domain ending is no substitute for the official record.
Locate the associated instrument
Check which ordinance, instrument, or number is linked to the company and note any stated conditions, periods, or statuses.
Record the result
Keep a record of the date, the search terms used, and the match found between the company, CNPJ, brand, domain, and instrument.
When the brand or domain does not appear
What does not prove authorisation
Advertising, popularity, sponsorships, the site's appearance, and statements made by the brand itself do not prove federal authorization. Verification depends on a match between the legal entity, CNPJ, brand, exact domain, and instrument in the official source. The existence of a similarly spelled domain also does not allow authorization to be extended to another address.
Federal authorization is not a state license
Keeping the check up to date
Before publishing an update, the team must revalidate the official source, the links, the status of each entry, and the relationships between the company, CNPJ, brand, domain, and instrument. The count must distinguish between legal entities, authorizations, brands, and domains, avoiding presenting these totals as equivalent. Because the required official extract was not included with the material for this analysis, no specific company or brand is classified here as authorized or unauthorized.
