Caixa moves lottery draws forward to Saturday (24th) due to runoff elections

Caixa Loterias moved the lottery draws originally scheduled for Sunday (25th) forward to Saturday (24th), the day before the 2026 runoff elections. Conventional bets can be placed until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and the draws begin at 9:00 p.m., according to Agência Brasil.

The affected Mega-Sena draw is 3074, which was originally scheduled for Sunday at 11:00 a.m., according to NSC Total. The draws take place at Espaço da Sorte in São Paulo, with live streaming on Caixa's YouTube channel, also according to NSC Total. BNLData adds that the broadcast will also be carried on the official Loterias Caixa channels and on the g1 portal. The schedule change repeats the procedure adopted in the first round, when Caixa also rescheduled draws for the same reason, according to NSC Total.

Which lottery categories were moved forward

According to Metrópoles and A Tarde, seven lottery categories had their draws moved forward: Mega-Sena, Lotofácil, Loteria Federal, Quina, Timemania, Dia de Sorte, and +Milionária. Agência Brasil specifically mentioned Mega-Sena, Lotofácil, Quina, Milionária, and Timemania, without indicating the total number of categories involved.

NSC Total, in turn, also included Super Sete, Lotomania, and Dupla Sena in its coverage, resulting in a more extensive list than those of the other outlets. Mega Semana starting October 26

In the week following the runoff, Caixa is hosting the Mega Semana da Mega-Sena, with five consecutive draws for draws 3076 through 3080, from Monday to Friday, between October 26 and 30, 2026, according to Agência Brasil. A Tarde also confirmed the special schedule.
